As we get closer to the end of this school year and are planning for the start of our new 2021-2022 school year, we have two very important announcements. Please note that we will also be holding a Parent Town Hall Meeting on Tuesday, May 25th at 6:30pm in order to provide more information and answer questions regarding these two announcements.
First, the recent guidance from federal and state health officials have been making it look more and more possible for our students to all be able to come back to in-person school when we begin the new school year. We are planning to have school in person five days per week and with the full-day schedules, we had prior to COVID. We will provide more details as we get new information about the new school year protocols from CDC and VDH in the next few weeks, but it is safe to plan on us being able to accommodate all students who come in person.
Second, we are going to offer a virtual learning option for students for the 2021-2022 school year if this is still desired by the family and the student meets certain criteria. In order to be considered for virtual learning for the upcoming school year, parents must apply NO LATER THAN MAY 29TH. No application is necessary for families who wish to have their children attend in person.
