CGW Next School Year Survey for Virtual Families

It is hard to believe that we are already starting to prepare for next school year. In order to do this effectively, we need some information from you. Please take a moment to fill out this three question survey about the 2021-2022 school year before Friday. Just as a reminder, we will be transitioning to our balanced calendar this summer. The first day of school for the 2021-2022 school year will be July 26th, 2021. It is important that each school have accurate, up to date information. If you have children at different schools, you will receive a survey from each school. Please complete the appropriate school survey for each child. It is super important that we get this survey back as soon as possible, as the division needs all responses by Friday, April 2nd, 2021.

Attention 8th Graders Interested in the Early College Academy at HHS

Would you like to earn college credit while in high school?
Rising 9th grade students are invited to explore this
exciting opportunity. Richard Bland College (RBC) has
partnered with Hopewell City Public Schools (HCPS) to
create new opportunities for students to earn college
credit at the same time as completing their high school
graduation requirements. The RBC Academy program
allows participants the option of earning substantial
college credit at little or no cost to their families.
Students will have the opportunity to choose dual
enrollment classes that may lead to earning an
associate degree. Interested students will be grouped
together in Freshman Success, English, and Advisory
classes during 9th grade. This does not guarantee
eligibility to enroll in dual enrollment classes or
admittance into the RBC Academy. A student’s academic
success during their freshman year will dictate if the
student can progress to taking college courses the
following year.
Visit the Early College Scholars
website for more information.

All interested students are required to complete an interest form. Forms are available in the MS counseling office or online.

**Deadline for completion is April 16, 2021.**

Title I Family Survey (Spring 2021)

Por favor completar esta encuesta y devuélvala a la escuela de su hijo. Si usted necesita ayuda de traducción, póngase en contacto con la oficina de la escuela. Gracias.
